April 3, 2010: Insanity Prevails

April 3, 2010

Mother nature took her toll on today's group. The day started off calm, but the wind began to blow, with gusts between 30 and 40 mph, which made for some wild course conditions. Several times today the wind blew so hard that the course was nearly unplayable. However, the players relied on determination, combined with an ample dose of insanity, to complete play.

Scoring was once again led by Josh Sine with 69, which was an incredible round in the windy conditions, and was 10 shots below the scoring average of the group. Norm Knowlton fired a rock solid 73, followed by Dana Andrews with 75. Gary Stant made his first appearance of the year and fired 78, which was quite respectable given the conditions.

Conditions look to be much better for tomorrow which should lead to a good turnout, despite being Easter Sunday.
