Jim Kincaid Shoots 29

May 12, 2012

Jim Kincaid put on an amazing display on the back nine of the North course today. With birdies on 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, and 18 en route to a 7-under par 29, Jim put together what is no doubt one of the best rounds in history on the back nine.

He made nine straight pars on the front nine, which had to seem boring compared to the fireworks he delivered on the back nine. His bogey-free 65 (36-29) was a great round in itself, though somewhat overshadowed by his incredible back nine.

His playing partners were Gary Stant, Kevin Kite, and Fred Sothard. They were all rooting him on as the round progressed, especially on the 18th green.

Gary described the round as "solid and amazing". "It was fun to watch the ball keep going in the hole" said Stant.

Congratulations Jim and well played! I wish I could have been there to see it.
